Cirencester (Nearest Town)
Cirencester is known as the 'Capital of the Cotswolds' and is an ideal base for exploring the numerous day trips and attractions that the Cotswolds have on offer. During Roman occupation, Cirencester was the second largest town in England, and the ruins of an ancient Roman ampitheatre can be discovered just a short walk from Mayfeild Park. Now known for its thriving markets, array of fascinating buildings and popular museum, it will be hard to discover everything else the Cotswolds have on offer with all of this on your doorstep!
