Located in an area outstanding natural beauty, Mayfield Caravan Park’s sprawling 12 acre site is ideally located for exploring the ancient Roman town of Cirencester and discovering the surrounding wonders of the Cotswolds. You can also explore the Forest of Dean or use us as the perfect stepping stone to Wales and the South-West.


The gentle slope of the park boasts views across the Churn Valley, with buzzards and kites circling overhead and a sunset spectacular come nightfall. Our site is favoured by couples and families who are looking for a quiet weekend away in the country, whilst being a convenient 10-minute drive from Cirencester, the Capital of the Cotswolds. The bus stop just outside our door means that the adventures are never far away.

Our centrally heated toilet block is kept immaculately clean, and your safety across the site is our utmost priority. We have a tried-and-tested one-way system in place and scoial distancing measures across the park.


Whilst staying with us, you are free to use all facilities, including the potwash, laundry room, chemical disposal point and toilet and shower blocks. Our disabled toilet/family room is available for those that need it. We also have a covered gazebo where you can sit and access our free WiFi.

Your furry friends are more than welcome to join us and can play in either of our two dog walking areas. 


Our small on-site shop sells essential goods such as tea, coffee, tinned foods and some toiletries, or the closest store is only a mile down the road. Camping gas and toilet chemicals are available at reception.

We have a number of wonderfully spacious fully-serviced hardstanding, fully-serviced grass and non-electric grass pitches, meaning that there is something to suit everyone's style of camping! Our camping field opens wide with panoramic views of the Churn Valley hills, where you can take in breathtaking sunset spectaculars and wake up to a stunning sunrise. 


When night falls, the spectacle doesn't end - watch Mayfield's Milky Way display light up the skies and spend your evening spotting shooting stars. Our touring pitches provide ample room for your camper, caravan, motorhome or tent and also includes space for one car. Unlike a lot of parks, we do not charge for an awning. Customers often comment on our well-maintained grounds

FAQ'S

  • Are you open all year?

    Yes! Mayfield Pak welcomes campers and tourers year-round. Our hardstanding pitches mean that you can enjoy your time with us without worrying about the weather!

  • Do you allow Campfires/BBQ's?

    Campfires and BBQ's are allowed, but must be raised and contained at all times. We provide concrete blocks at every water station for you to prop your fire on.  Firesmust be extinguised by 10pm.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    No refunds within 2 weeks of arrival date.


    28 days - 15 days before arrival: a 1 night + £10 campsite admin fee will be retained.


    No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.


    Any deposits are transferrable, providing at least 48 hours notice is given. Any cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice of the arrival date will not be entitled to any refunds or transfers.


  • Can I Amend My Booking Once Booking is confirmed?

    Amendments are subject to a £10 admin fee.

  • Do you have an onsite shop?

    We have a small on-site shop located in the reception, where we sell some basic items such as dry goods, tea and coffee and toiletries. There is also camping gas and chemical toilet liquid available. The closest store for any items we cannot provide is only 1 mile down the road. 

  • What is your Arrival/Departure time?

    Check in is any time after 12:00 midday and departure is any time before 12:00 midday. If you require a late stay, this can be arranged at the cost of £10.00.

  • Do you allow day visitors?

    Yes - day visitors are allowed at a fee of £3.00 per adult and £2.00 per car, with no charge for kids and pets. All visitors must park in the visitors carpark and sign in to reception. 

  • Is there a communal freezer?

    Yes - we offer this service free of charge. Please bring items which need freezing to reception and we will be happy to help.

  • Do you allow awnings?

    Yes - unlike many other campsites, there is no additional charge for an awning. As long as it fits within the boundaries of your pitch you are free to set up an awning or gazebo as you like.

  • Do you accept rallies?

    Rallies are more than welcome at Mayfield Park and may also receive a discounted price, depending on the size of the group and time of year.

  • Do you accept group bookings?

    Group bookings, same-gender bookings and under-16's are all welcome to Mayfield Park. In larger groups, we do ask for a waiver deposit to ensure that the park's rules are followed by everyone on-site.
